Privacy Policy

Your home data stays yours.

Krov helps you manage tasks, products, records, shared homes and emergency details without a separate Krov account, advertising tracking, or selling your personal information.

No advertising profile. No selling your data. Sync and shared homes use Apple iCloud services.

Used for the app

Your tasks, records, products, profiles and emergency details are used only to run Krov features.

Apple iCloud

When enabled, Krov uses Apple CloudKit to sync and share homes across your devices.

No tracking

Krov does not track you across apps or websites for advertising.

Local settings

Notification style, theme and card display preferences stay on your device.

Information You Add

Krov stores the information you choose to add, such as:

  • tasks, reminders and completion history
  • product, receipt, warranty and home records
  • emergency contacts, locations and notes
  • photos or attachments you add
  • first-name-only profiles and profile colours for task assignment
  • home names, home colours, home membership and sharing status
  • app settings and notification preferences

How Your Information Is Used

Your information is used only to run Krov features: showing tasks, assigning tasks to people, calculating the Krov Score, scheduling reminders, syncing shared homes, organising Pantry records and keeping emergency details available.

Krov does not use your home information for advertising, profiling, data brokerage or cross-app tracking.

Where Data Lives

Krov stores app data on your device. If iCloud sync or shared homes are used, Krov also stores synced home data in your Apple iCloud account using CloudKit.

Apple handles iCloud accounts, CloudKit, device backups, diagnostics and App Store information under Apple’s privacy policies and your device settings. Krov does not operate its own account system for your home data.

Shared Homes

If you share a home, people you invite may be able to view or edit information in that shared home depending on their role. Shared home data can include tasks, products, records, emergency details, member profiles and completion history. Homes remain separate from each other, so data from one home should not appear in another. Only share a home with people you trust.

Photos and Notifications

Krov only uses photos or images you choose to add through the app.

Notifications are optional. They are used for task reminders and digest alerts if enabled, and can be changed in iOS Settings or Krov settings.

Notification preferences are local to the device. Shared homes do not copy another person’s notification settings.

What Krov Does Not Collect

Krov does not intentionally collect or access your contacts, calendar, precise location, health data, payment card information, browsing history or advertising identifiers.

Krov does not use third-party advertising SDKs or tracking tools.

Your Choices

You can edit or delete tasks, products, records, contacts, locations, profiles and notes inside Krov. You can also delete the app to remove locally stored app data, though Apple-managed backups or iCloud-synced shared data may keep copies depending on your settings and shared-home membership.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new effective date.

Contact

For privacy questions, contact support through the App Store listing or the Krov support page.
