Help for keeping your home in sync.
Quick answers for tasks, shared homes, iCloud sync, Pantry records, emergency details and privacy.
Start with the area that feels stuck. Most setup and sync issues are a quick settings check.
Create recurring tasks, assign them to people, and add ready-made packs for common home routines.
Save products, then link receipts, warranties, photos, repairs and records so the history stays together.
Use Apple iCloud to sync your home, invite people and keep each home’s tasks and records separate.
Keep quick guides, local numbers, shutoff locations and important contacts ready when you need them.
Common Questions
How do I add a task?
Open Tasks, tap the add button, enter the task name, choose a due date and save. New tasks can include a repeat schedule, difficulty, assignee, area, linked products, checklist items and notes.
How do reminders work?
You can choose Smart Digest, Daily Digest or Off. Smart Digest groups due tasks into morning and afternoon summaries. Daily Digest sends one summary at your chosen time. You can turn reminders off from Settings.
How do I enable notifications?
Open Settings -> Notifications -> Krov on your iPhone and make sure notifications are enabled. You can choose your reminder style inside Krov settings.
How does syncing work?
Krov keeps everything in sync through your Apple iCloud account, automatically. Changes sync in the background within seconds across all of your devices and everyone in a shared home, and open homes stay up to date while you use the app. You can also pull down on the Tasks list to refresh at any time. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud, iCloud Drive is on, and Krov has iCloud access.
How do I share a home?
Open Manage Home, tap Invite to Current Home, and send the invite link however you like, such as Messages or Mail. Only the home owner can invite people, and a home can have up to five people including you.
How do I join a home someone shared with me?
Open the invite link they sent and it will open in Krov and ask you to confirm. Joining replaces the home currently on your device with the shared one, so set up a quick profile first. Your name and colour let everyone see who each task belongs to.
Who can do what in a shared home?
Everyone in a shared home sees the same tasks, products and records, and every change syncs to the whole home. The owner manages home details and who has access, and can label people as Owner, Resident or Guest from Manage Home.
How do I remove someone, or leave a home?
The owner can remove a person in Manage Home: tap their role, then choose Remove from Home. To leave a home yourself, open Settings -> Reset Home and confirm; the home stays for everyone else and you start fresh on your device. An owner cannot reset a shared home while other people are still on it, so remove everyone first.
What happens if the home owner stops using Krov?
If the owner only deletes the app, nothing changes for anyone else, and the home is still there if they reinstall. If the owner deletes the shared home or removes its iCloud data, it is removed for everyone, because a shared home lives in the owner’s iCloud.
What is Pantry?
Pantry is where Krov keeps products and home records together. A receipt, warranty, repair or photo can stand alone, or it can be linked to a product so the history appears in one place.
What is the Krov Score?
The Krov Score gives a simple view of how your home is tracking based on routine, timing and recent completion rhythm. Tap the score card in Krov for the breakdown and recommendations.
What is the Emergency Manual?
The Emergency Manual stores key shutoff locations, local quick-call information, contacts, important notes and panic guides.
Troubleshooting
I am not receiving notifications
Check Settings -> Notifications -> Krov, confirm the task has a due date or reminder, then reopen Krov. Restart your iPhone if alerts still do not appear.
A task did not repeat
Check the task’s repeat schedule. If the task was completed, edited or moved, its next due date may depend on those settings.
A change is not showing on my other device
Krov syncs automatically within seconds, but iOS can occasionally delay background updates. Open the app or pull down on the Tasks list to refresh. Check that both devices have a connection and are signed in to the correct Apple ID.
My data is missing
Check that you are signed in to the same Apple ID, iCloud Drive is enabled and Krov is allowed to use iCloud. If you joined a shared home, make sure the invite was accepted with the same Apple account. Local-only starter homes may not appear on another device unless they have synced through iCloud.
Something looks wrong
Close and reopen Krov, make sure you are on the latest version, and restart your iPhone if the issue continues.
Privacy
Krov does not sell your personal information and does not track you across apps or websites. iCloud sync and shared homes use Apple iCloud services. Read the Privacy Policy.
